The Royal Belgian Handball Federation has presented its development plan for the coming years. Representatives of 17 clubs attended the first information session, marking the start of a shared journey towards stronger clubs, more attractive competitions and a more visible and professional future for Belgian handball.

The plan focuses on five key areas: youth development, sporting quality, visibility and infrastructure, cooperation and support, and professionalisation. The different measures will be introduced gradually, giving clubs time to assess their current situation and adapt their organisation step by step.

Although several requirements will only enter into force in future seasons, clubs are encouraged to begin preparing now. Over the coming months, the federation will provide additional information and organise further information sessions. At the same time, every club remains responsible for correctly monitoring and complying with the regulations.

A detailed explanation of the development plan is available in Dutch and French.

These documents are provided for information purposes. The official and binding provisions are set out in the regulations of the Royal Belgian Handball Federation.
